Commissions
-
I do offer commissions! I will typically have multiple slots available (as of 2023 this has been reduced to one or two slots at a time). Models are completed anywhere between a month to three months based upon complexity. Commission slots will no longer be offered on a monthly basis. New slots will only become available once existing commissions have been completed.

-
I DO NOT guarantee any commission to be LSQ, but produce work that is of my best ability as an artist. I have created pieces that are both PSQ, LSQ, and NAN-qualifiers.

-
When inquiring about commissions please include you're name, the mold you either have or would like you're commission to be on, description of what you would like done for your commission, and reference photos. This will help me determine the exact price of your commission.

-
I offer commissions on artist resins, Breyer (molds released from the early 90's and later with some exceptions ex. Maureen Love sculpts. I will not take commissions on most vintage molds), Peter Stone, and Copperfox model horses. I do not customize Schleich, Collecta, WIA, or Safari LTD. horses. I work on all scales, excluding micros. If you have an older mold in mind for a commission let me know and I will decide whether it is a mold I am willing to work with.

-
You may either send me a body you already have for your commission, or I can grab a model for you if you do not already have one. You will responsible for covering the cost of either shipping a body you currently have or the cost of whichever model I grab for you. This cost is equal to your downpayment (more information on down payments below)

-
Please make sure the reference images that you send are of good quality for your commission. I can't create a custom that resembles the reference well if it is of poor quality. Send as many pictures of coat patterns (ex. pinto, appy, ect.) as you can. Try not to use images of horses under saddle or that have tack that obscures a large portion of the horse. This prevents me from getting enough visual information to paint the model accurately. Pieces will not be exact copies of the reference material given, but I will get as close as I can to the material I have to work with unless the piece is a portrait model.

-
All commissions will be created with the same materials and methods I use to create personal and sales pieces. This includes airbrushing and hand painting in acrylics and the use of dry media such as colored pencil and charcoal. I do not create models using pastels or oils.

-
I can do minor re-sculpt work such as new manes, tails, and added detailing (wrinkles, veins, ears, eyes, nostrils, and gender). In general, I do not offer any major re-positioning or re-sculpt work for commissions. If you want one of my re-sculpts they are available as sales pieces.

-
If you can, please send models pre-prepped. This expedites the painting process for me and gets your piece to you a bit faster! However, I do prep models if needed. If you send a model that has been pre-prepped and flaws in the mold have been missed (seam lines, pinholes, flashing, ect.) I will not fix these for you unless they are very unsightly.

-
I will not strip paint off any model or accept commissions that have been previously painted by another artist. I will only strip a model if given explicit permission by the artist to do so, if the model was advertised as body quality, or if the existing paint is obstructive to detail or unstable.

-
I do not offer the commissioning of an original sculpture

-
I do not offer mold making or casting services

-
I reserve the right to display images of commissions that I have taken on my website, Instagram. Please do not use any images displayed on this website unless given permission to do so.
Sales Pieces
-
All sales pieces are one of a kind models that have been customized by me unless otherwise noted. Some sales pieces are original sculptures that have been sculpted, molded, cast, and painted by myself. I do not use any mold-making or casting services to produce my pieces and do it on my own.

-
I DO NOT Guarantee any sales piece to be LSQ, however I have produced PSQ, LSQ, and NAN-qualifying pieces.

-
Sales pieces that are castings of an original sculpture are NOT to be altered in any way.

-
All sales pieces are listed on my website, Model Horse Sales Pages, and Model Horse Place. Pieces are offered via auction on Model Horse Place.

-
Prices for sales pieces are firm. NO TRADES.

-
All sales are final.

-
I can hold a sales piece for you for up to seven days. If I have not had any contact with by then the piece will be listed as available again.

-
I will update the status of sales pieces on my website, Model Horse Sales Pages, and Model Horse Place.

Payments
-
I accept payments for sales pieces and commissions through paypal or money order only.

COMMISSIONS

-
All commissions have a down payment. This secures your commission slot. The down payment is either equal to the cost of shipping a model you already have to me, or the cost of a model that I get for your commission.

-
Down payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. If I do not have contact with you for an extended period of time (60 days) work on your commission will cease and your down payment WILL BE FORFEITED. I reserve the right to customize the model to my liking and sell or keep as a personal piece. However, it is most likely to be sold.

-
I am flexible with payments on commissions. If you need extra time or a payment plan I am willing to work with you. Just email me to figure out a plan that works for you. However, I am not going to chase you if I don't hear from you. All payment that have been made WILL BE FORFEITED after 60 days of repeated attempts to contact you with no answer.
SALES PIECES

-
Time payments are available for pieces sold upwards of $270 at auction.
Shipping
-
I send models via USPS or UPS. I include a tracking number and insurance for your commission or sales piece.

-
I AM willing to ship models internationally. However, you are responsible for paying any duties and taxes that may apply to your shipment. Please take the time to understand your country's restrictions and fees for international shipments.

-
I prefer to ship using USPS Priority mail as well for international shipments. I am willing to ship first class international, however I prefer not to as it makes me nervous. There is limited tracking, no insurance, and a higher possibility of shipments being lost or damaged. I would hate to have anything happen to your model, but also to a horse I've put a lot of myself and time into.

-
I am NOT responsible for any lost or damaged models. Again, I'd hate for anything to happen. I pack and ship models to the best of my ability, but it is out of my hands once shipped.
