DUST DEVIL

Dust Devil resin painted to a few spot appaloosa with a sock. He has had four feathers added to the sculpture. The colored markings are derived from those used by Native American tribes to give their horses strength and enhanced senses as well as mark the rider's accomplishments. His symbols are what may have been painted on a horse before or after a successful hunt. This piece has been completed in oils and acrylics. He's sealed with a matte varnish, his eyes are glossed.
